East Texas Alarm understands that all customer’s needs and budgets are not the same. We can design and install a state of the art office or home security system in Tyler, TX tailored to each customer’s specific needs.

We will meet with you to discuss all of the options and help direct the customer to the best system available for their needs. Our “No-Pressure Sales” approach is to explain and educate every customer so that they can make the decision of what is best for their needs and budget.

Our systems can include door and window contacts, glass break sensors and motion detectors for intrusion detection. We also offer video surveillance that can provide 24 hour notification of potential issues as soon as they occur. All of these options can be viewed and controlled remotely 24 hours per day.

Wireless systems are available, when needed for hard to reach areas or locations that are difficult to access for wiring. The system monitors the wireless devices for low battery or loss of communication. The typical battery life is 5 years on most devices.

East Texas Alarm offers application interfaces for the iPhone/PDM devices to control the alarm system.

As with any of our systems, there will be a knowledgeable technician available to help you with any questions or service needs 24 hours per day

Window and Door Contacts

We can install contacts on doors and/or windows to detect when opened. (This will not trip the alarm on a glass break attempt).

Glassbreak Detectors

The glassbreak detector is designed to mount in the ceiling or wall of a room. The detector listens for the high frequency sound of breaking glass. Since the detector works on sound, the location of the detector is important (i.e. heavy draperies).

Motion Detectors

Motion detectors are generally used for backup protection; however, they may be the primary detection device.

Smoke Detectors

Smoke detectors are typically installed in bedrooms and hallways.

Heat Detectors

Heat detectors are typically installed in attics, AC closets, water heater closets and garages.

iPhone/PDM Devices

East Texas Alarm offers application interfaces for iPhone and PDM devices to control the alarm system and other types of systems. These features are changing and additional household controls are coming.

Wireless System

Wireless systems are available when needed. Typical uses involve hard to reach areas or locations that are difficult to access for wiring. The system monitors the wireless devices for low battery or loss of communication. The typical battery life is five (5) years on most devices.
